As you may have heard, I have announced that I will be moving my custom framing studio to our family farm outside of Mildmay! 

We have sold our building and a new gift shop will be opening in the spring, which I am happy about! As a proud Mildmayite I am always promoting Mildmay’s main street business’ and will continue to do so.  

It was a huge decision to make and I will really miss my little gift shop and the supportive customers and friends that stopped in to shop, browse and just visit and chat. We have welcomed three grandchildren, Evelyn, Cohen, and Jace, so this move will give me the flexibility to continue to offer custom framing while also having lots of Grandma time. 

Our gift shop will close March 31, 2018. If you’ve been in shopping lately you will know that we have a lot of giftware and home décor so we will be having liquidation sales starting mid-February and continuing till closing. Stay tuned for more info! 

My home-based custom framing studio will open mid-April! Some of you know where we live but if you don’t we are located at 636 Concession 4 Mildmay, Ontario N0G 2J0

I will continue to offer all of the custom framing services that I currently offer. Collage framing of sport and war medals, photos and memorabilia, needlepoint, artwork and traditional custom framing, plaque mounting, just to name a few. My daughter Virginia is currently working on my new and improved website and she claims that framing consultations will be able to be booked through my website www.surroundingsmildmay.ca. (I will need a lesson or two on that!) No worries as you will also be able to make an appointment with me by calling 519-367-2636. 

I am really looking forward to working with my current customers and inviting new customers to my home based frame shop! It will very much be business as usual, only in a different setting. I can't wait to share my new space with everyone!
